A dripping kitchen or bathroom faucet
A steady drip usually means a worn cartridge, or a worn valve seat in an older two-handle faucet. We replace the parts and test it. If the faucet is too far gone for parts, we say so.

A steady drip usually means a worn cartridge, or a worn valve seat in an older two-handle faucet. We replace the parts and test it. If the faucet is too far gone for parts, we say so.
If the finish is failing, the body is corroded, or parts are hard to find, a new faucet costs less than repeated repairs. We install one you bought or help you pick one that fits your sink.
Apex winters can freeze a hose bib that was left connected to a hose. A frost-free sillcock reduces the risk when installed correctly. We repair or replace the bib, and check for a leak inside the wall.
A clogged aerator is the easy cause. Mineral buildup in the cartridge, a kinked supply line, or a partly closed shut-off valve are the others. We start at the aerator and work back.
Old stops seize or leak at the stem. If you cannot shut the water off to the faucet, we replace the valve and the supply line so the next repair is easy.
A pull-down hose that will not retract, a sprayer that leaks, or a head that sags is usually a worn hose, weight, or connection. We repair it or replace the faucet.
Clear Answers
A drip, low flow, a split hose bib, or a new faucet. Tell us whether you are supplying the faucet. We give you an arrival window and the price before any work starts.
We look at the faucet, the supply lines, and the shut-off valves, so a worn part does not cause a repeat call. You approve the price first.
We do the work, run the water, and check every connection for leaks before we leave.
Apex Homes
Many Apex homes from the 2010s and early 2020s came with builder-grade faucets that are now 10 or more years old. Triangle municipal water is moderately hard, so scale builds up in aerators and cartridges. Homes in the historic downtown and the 1990s subdivisions often have older stops and supply lines that deserve a look when the faucet is replaced.
For a burst pipe, shut off the main valve first, then call. We cover leak repair, including copper pipe repair. Homes built roughly between 1978 and 1995 in the Triangle may have polybutylene supply piping, which can fail at fittings. For a garbage disposal under the same sink, see our Apex disposal page.
Our shop is at 3460 Apex Pkwy, and this is where most of our trucks start the day. We work Monday through Saturday, 7:00 to 18:00. For the rest of the house, see our Apex plumber page.

Commercial faucets get used all day and fail the same ways. We repair and install them for Apex businesses and schedule around your hours.

Helpful Details
Yes. We tell you before we start if a part will not fit your sink or needs an adapter.
If the faucet is in good shape and the drip is a worn cartridge or seat, repair is often enough. If it is corroded or parts are hard to find, replacement makes more sense. We tell you which applies.
It depends on the faucet, the sink, and whether the stops or supply lines need replacing. We give you the real price before we start. Call (919) 679-1275 for an arrival window.
Shut off the water to it inside if you can. A frozen bib can split behind the wall, so we check for a leak before replacing it. A frost-free sillcock is the usual replacement.
Often a clogged aerator or scale in the cartridge. A kinked supply line or a partly closed stop valve can also do it. If every fixture is weak, the problem is somewhere else.
Shut off the main valve and call (919) 679-1275. We handle burst pipes and other urgent leaks.
