Slow drains
A sink or tub that drains slowly usually has buildup close to the fixture: hair, soap scale, or grease. We clear it and check that the line downstream is flowing, so the same drain is not slow again next month.
Residential and Commercial Drain Service
Slow drain, clogged kitchen sink, or a main line backing up? Our shop is in Apex, right across the town line, so for most Cary addresses we are coming from next door. We clear the blockage, show you what caused it, and give you the price before we start.

Residential Drain Service
Most drain calls are one of these six. Tell us which one you have and we will tell you what it usually takes to fix it.
A sink or tub that drains slowly usually has buildup close to the fixture: hair, soap scale, or grease. We clear it and check that the line downstream is flowing, so the same drain is not slow again next month.
Kitchen lines collect grease and food solids, and a disposal pushes more of both into the pipe. We cable the line from the right access point and, when the pipe wall is coated, recommend jetting instead of a temporary punch-through.
Hair and soap build up in the trap and the first few feet of pipe. We clear the line properly rather than pouring in chemicals that can damage older pipe and fittings.
A toilet that gurgles or backs up when another fixture runs usually points past the toilet itself. We find out whether the problem is the toilet, the branch line, or the main.
A floor or laundry drain that backs up often shares a line with the kitchen or the main. We locate the blockage and clear it at the source instead of at the symptom.
When more than one fixture backs up, the problem is in the main sewer line. We clear it and run a camera when the symptoms call for it, so you know whether it was a one-time clog, roots, or a damaged pipe.
Clear Answers
Which fixtures are affected, when it started, and whether it has happened before. We give you an arrival window and the price before any work starts.
A cable for a simple clog. Hydro jetting when grease or scale keeps bringing the clog back. A camera when the symptoms point to the main line, so we are not guessing about what is in the pipe.
We explain the cause in plain language, show you the camera footage when we ran one, and give you options with no pressure. If the line needs repair, you hear it from us with a price, not a surprise later.
Local Knowledge
Most of Cary was built between the 1980s and the 2000s, and the drain lines in those homes are old enough to show it. In the older neighborhoods such as Kildaire Farms, Scottish Hills, Greenwood Forest, and MacGregor Downs, mature trees sit right on top of the sewer laterals, and roots work into every joint that has shifted. Those are the homes where a main line clears and then backs up again a few months later, which is the sign to look at hydro jetting or a camera inspection rather than another cable.
Cary is a mix of slab-on-grade and crawlspace construction. Under a slab, a sag or a crack in the drain line holds water and debris that a cable can punch through but not fix, so a camera matters more here than in a house with a crawlspace where we can see and reach the pipe. Triangle clay soil shifts with wet and dry seasons and is the usual reason a buried line sags. When the pipe itself is the problem, we walk you through sewer line repair options with the price up front.
Our shop is at 3460 Apex Pkwy, on the Apex side of the town line, so most Cary addresses are a short drive. We work Monday through Saturday, 7:00 to 18:00, and a main line backup counts as an emergency during those hours. If water is coming up a floor drain or a tub, stop running water in the house and call. For the rest of the house, see our Cary plumber page.
Commercial Drain Service
Restaurants along Kildaire Farm Road and in downtown Cary, office parks, and multi-unit properties call us for the same reasons homeowners do, with less tolerance for downtime. We clear, jet, inspect, and repair commercial drain and sewer lines, and we schedule around your hours where we can.
Kitchen lines between the sinks and the grease trap outlet load up with grease and soap scale. We clear them, jet them when the pipe wall needs it, and can set a jetting schedule so the line is cleaned before it backs up in the middle of service.
Repeat calls from the same building or shared lateral usually mean buildup, not bad luck. We camera the line, clear it, and send you what we found so you can plan maintenance instead of reacting to backups.
Restroom groups, floor drains, mop sinks, and break room lines. We schedule around your business hours where we can and leave the space the way we found it.
Helpful Details
Often, but we will not promise it before we know the schedule. Our shop is in Apex, which borders Cary, and we work Monday through Saturday, 7:00 to 18:00. Call (919) 679-1275 and we will give you the earliest real arrival window, not a guess.
It depends on which drain, where the blockage is, and whether the line needs a cable, jetting, or a camera inspection. We give you the price before we start, you approve it before any work happens, and nothing is added without your okay.
A cleanout is a capped access point to the main sewer line, usually a 3 or 4 inch pipe sticking up near the foundation or in the yard. Many Cary homes from the 1980s onward have one; some older homes do not. If yours does not, we can install one so future cleanings do not have to go through a roof vent or a pulled toilet.
Yes. When the camera shows a cracked, sagging, or collapsed section, clearing it only buys time. We can replace the damaged section or the whole run, and we explain both options with the price before anything is dug.
We would rather you did not. Caustic cleaners rarely clear a real blockage, they can damage older pipe and fittings, and they make the line unsafe for whoever opens it next. Hot water and a plunger are fine to try. If that does not work, call.
Yes. Restaurants, offices, retail, and multi-unit properties, including scheduled jetting for commercial kitchens, camera inspections, and sewer line repair when the pipe itself is the problem.
