New sink with new countertops
Cary kitchen remodels often mean pulling the old sink and setting a new one. We disconnect before the countertop crew arrives and reconnect after, so the kitchen is usable again as soon as the top is set.
Kitchen and Bathroom Sink Service
A leaking drain under the vanity, a faucet that needs replacing, or a new sink going in with the countertops: this is kitchen and bathroom plumbing we do every week. Our shop is in Apex, next door to Cary. We tell you what is wrong, give you the price before we start, and test every connection before we leave.

Sink Repair and Installation
Most sink calls are one of these six. Tell us which one sounds like yours and we will tell you what the fix usually involves.
Cary kitchen remodels often mean pulling the old sink and setting a new one. We disconnect before the countertop crew arrives and reconnect after, so the kitchen is usable again as soon as the top is set.
A drop-in sits on the counter and is simple to connect. An undermount hangs from below, and the drain, faucet holes, and disposal all have to line up with the cutout. We plan the plumbing around the sink you picked.
Water under the cabinet usually comes from a loose slip nut, a cracked trap, or a worn drain assembly. We replace the failed parts and check the supply lines while the cabinet is open, so you are not back in a month.
A worn cartridge or seal can often be repaired. When the faucet is corroded or parts are hard to find, we replace it. You can supply your own faucet and we will tell you up front if anything will not fit.
If the valve under the sink sticks or weeps, you cannot work on the sink safely. We replace tired stop valves and supply lines so the next repair starts with water that actually shuts off.
A slow kitchen sink is usually grease close to the trap, and a disposal pushes more into the line. We clear the drain and, when a disposal is part of the job, install it and check that it drains cleanly. See [drain cleaning in Cary](/drain-cleaning-cary-nc) for deeper clogs.
Clear Answers
Which sink, what it is doing, and whether you are supplying your own sink, faucet, or disposal. Photos of the cabinet and the old fixture help. We give you an arrival window and the price before work begins.
We look at the fixture, the supply lines, the stop valves, and the drain below. Worn parts that would cause a repeat problem get flagged before we start.
We explain the options, do the work, and run the water to check every connection for leaks before we leave.
Cary Kitchens and Baths
Most of Cary was built between the 1980s and the 2000s, so a lot of the kitchens and bathrooms we work in are on their original faucets, stop valves, and drain assemblies. In neighborhoods like Kildaire Farms, MacGregor Downs, Scottish Hills, and Greenwood Forest, those parts are now old enough to stick, weep, or crack when someone finally touches them. That is why we usually replace the stop valves and supply lines when we install a sink or faucet: the cabinet is already open and the old ones tend to fail on the way out.
Kitchen remodels are common in the older parts of town and in the 1990s and 2000s neighborhoods such as Preston, Lochmere, and Amberly. A new countertop is the usual trigger. The sink has to come out first and go back in on the right day, and an undermount needs the drain and disposal set to the new cutout. Tell us the sink model and the countertop installer's date and we will line our visit up with theirs. Homes from roughly 1978 to 1995 can also have polybutylene supply piping, so if we see gray plastic lines under your sink we will tell you what we found and what your options are.

Helpful Details
It depends on the sink and what is wrong: a drain or faucet repair, a new fixture, an undermount cutout, a disposal, or old valves and lines that need replacing. We tell you the price before we start and nothing is done until you approve it. Call (919) 679-1275 or send photos and we will scope it.
Yes. We disconnect the old sink before the countertop crew arrives and reconnect after the top is set. Give us the sink model and the install date and we will schedule around it. For an undermount, check the cutout size with your countertop installer first.
The plumbing is largely the same, but an undermount has to be aligned with the cutout from below, which makes the order of work matter. A drop-in is set from above and is usually simpler. We connect either one and tell you if a part will not fit.
Dry the cabinet, then run each part: the faucet, then the drain. The water shows where it is coming from. Common sources are a loose drain nut, a cracked trap, a worn faucet seal, or a weeping stop valve. We trace it and repair the cause rather than just tightening what leaked.
Yes. Old stop valves stick, weep, or fail to close fully. We usually replace the valve and the supply line together, which is quick when the cabinet is already open.
We pull permits where the town requires them. A faucet or drain repair usually does not need one, and we confirm what your job needs when we scope it.
